The Mount St. Joseph Girls' College Athletics Carnival will be held at the Newport Athletics Track on Friday 22nd April. Come along and be part of the College Community and watch the girls compete with pride for their College Houses.

MSJ student excels at State Swimming titles

MSJ student Bianca Mathews (Year 7 Joseph) competed and won a gold medal for 50m freestyle at the Metro All Junior Competition on Sunday with a time 29.12 seconds.

Spreading Christmas Cheer...


As is tradition at MSJ, we try to help those who are less fortunate then us have a better Christmas. So thanks to the generous donations of MSJ staff and students, we were able to deliver many jam packed Christmas hampers to St. Vinnies for distribution

Year 7 to 9 Activity Day


Our Year 7 - 9 students celebrated their last full day of the 2015 school year with a fun filled, christmas themed activity day organised by staff and fellow students.

Peer Support Leaders Induction Day...

On Thursday 19th November, a group of 31 students went to Brimbank Park for a Peer Support Induction Day. The day taught the girls how to help their Peers in their roles as Peer Support Leaders.

Our Seirei Peace Exchange Japan Tour group spent 16 days experiencing Japanese lifestyle, culture and history. They developed their Japanese language skills and made many new friendships.

The Shrine and Melbourne Museum Visit...


On Tuesday the 15th of September, the Year 9 students had an opportunity to visit Melbourne Museum to view the World War One Centenary Exhibition followed by a tour of the Shrine of Remembrance.

This year, the MSJ held the Year 8 annual Sustainability in the Environment Expo on Friday 4th of September during Period 4 in the Tenison Woods Learning Centre.

Q&A With Quentin Bryce...


Students from MSJ attended a Q & A evening with Australia's first female Governor General, Quentin Bryce. The event was hosted by former Attorney General, Nicola Roxon and the theme for the evening was Young Women and Leadership.
