As our Principal Kate Dishon is currently enjoying a well-deserved break, we are pleased to share this update on her behalf.

It has been a great start to the term, with students engaged in their learning and actively involved in activities around the College.

As a Josephite school, one of the highlights of our calendar is JJAMM Week – a special time dedicated to honouring St Mary MacKillop, Fr Julian Tenison Woods and St Joseph. This week provides a meaningful opportunity for us to reflect on our Catholic faith and Josephite heritage. The highlight of the week was our celebration of the Feast Day of St Mary MacKillop on 8 August. We marked the occasion with a beautiful Mass, followed by a fun afternoon of fundraising stalls and activities and we raised an incredible amount for Joseph’s Corner. It was a fantastic week and we extend our sincere thanks to our Faith Team and all staff who assisted with the many activities that took place during the week.

We were delighted to welcome students from Seirei Holy Spirit High School, Japan, from 28 July to 5 August, as part of our Peace Exchange Program. It was wonderful to have them as part of our community, and the friendships formed between our students will no doubt last for years to come. Thank you to the families who generously hosted these young women from Japan, and to the many staff who supported the program.

Our School Production of Little Shop of Horrors will take place on Friday 22 August and Saturday 23 August. This production is the result of the tireless efforts and commitment of our talented cast and dedicated staff. We encourage you to attend and support what promises to be a fabulous performance. Tickets are available via this link.
