If you already have a payment arrangement in place, please retain the statement for your records.

Little Shop of Horrors

This year's musical, Little Shop of Horrors, is fast approaching. The show will be held at Altona Theatre on August 22-23.

The cast have worked so hard, giving up lunchtimes, after school and days in their holidays to make this show everything we know it can be. We are looking forward to bringing this quirky, strange story of a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood and flesh.

MSJ has a proud history when it comes to school musicals, and we want to keep making them bigger and better. This year's cast is the biggest yet with over 60 students on stage alone. We then have students in the band as well backstage and front-of-house. This event really is an amazing opportunity for so many of our student body to be involved and meet new friends across all year levels.

This year we are raising some money to go towards all the essentials that go in to putting on a show, a fabulous set, costumes, a live band, make up and hair products, advertising and hiring the theatre. We are looking for companies to sponsor our show and return, they will get space in our program as well as our undying gratitude. Please see the attached sponsorship deals, send them on to anyone you know who might like to help bring this wonderful show to the stage.

Ahead of the opening, an interactive driving simulator activity will be held at the West Gate Tunnel Information Centre over the school holidays. Families can jump into the simulator for an immersive 3D experience that's both fun and educational, exploring what the new West Gate Freeway, tunnels, and city connections will look like.

The Info Centre is located within the project’s tunnelling hub site, which visitors can enter via the eastern end of Somerville Road, Yarraville.
