As we come to the end of a very busy Term Two, I would like to express my thanks to the students and staff who have been so committed to ensuring that the term has been a productive and successful time for our community. The last two weeks have been particularly busy with end of semester exams and assessments being completed. I have been very impressed with how well the students have participated in this process and I hope that they are able to reflect on the feedback that they receive and develop some clear goals for their future studies.

As we head into Term Three, we begin the process of subject selection for 2027. Work has commenced with Year 11 students as they finalise their subject choices for their final year of study at MSJ. Year 10 students have been involved in an intensive Pathways/Careers week and have had the opportunity to be involved in several seminars and workshops to assist them in beginning to map out their future pathway.

It has not been all hard work this term, once again the students have been very involved in Social Justice activities, have shined on the sports field and truly embraced the fun that comes with our annual MMADD Day. Congratulations to McCormack House who for the second year running won the Year 7 & 12 dance competition.

There is no doubt that students and staff are very ready for a break, and I hope everyone has a chance to rest and recuperate over the term break and I look forward to an exciting and successful Term Three.
