Dear Parents/Carers,
Our college now has a dedicated school careers website to assist students with their career research, senior secondary pathways, and post-school planning. In addition to the main website, students have their own secure area to create and store their personalised career documents. They can even undertake virtual work experience in a variety of industries.
The site is also designed with you in mind, so you can access information to help your child with their career planning and post-school decisions.
Click here: https://www.msjcareers.com/ to access the MSJ Careers website.

Student Services are putting together a range of activities and topics to discuss how students can be more ‘BodyKind’ to themselves and others.
Be on the look out for information posters, weekly quizzes and prizes on SIMON and a whole bunch of activities to help support students with their body image, mental health and wellbeing. Come to ChillOut to find out more!

MSJ's 2025 musical is here! The cast and crew of Little Shop of Horrors are thrilled to present this witty, tongue-in-cheek comedy that audiences will love. This deliciously devious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash, Little Shop of Horrors, was written by Broadway legends Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (the creative minds behind Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin), and has become one of the most beloved shows worldwide.
Meet Seymour Krelborn, a meek floral assistant who stumbles upon a mysterious new plant he names “Audrey II” after his crush at work. This potty-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises fame and fortune to Seymour—but only if he keeps feeding it… blood. As Seymour learns more about Audrey II’s otherworldly origins, he realizes the plant’s intentions for global domination are far from ordinary!
Filled with catchy tunes, sharp one-liners, and unforgettable characters from the streets of Skid Row, Little Shop of Horrors is a show you won’t want to miss. After months of hard work, the talented students of MSJ are ready to bring this unique story to life at the Altona Theatre from August 22–23.
Join us for a night of singing, dancing, a ravenous plant, and a love story that’s truly out of this world!

Preparations have already begun for the 2026 High School Dance Competition (HSDC), and we’re excited to get an early start! To boost participation from Mount Saint Joseph Girls' College, we’re opening sign-ups early and inviting students of all year levels to join the fun.
HSDC is a freestyle dance event open to high school students across Victoria. It celebrates teamwork, creativity, confidence, and cultural expression. Each team is required to include at least 30 seconds of an Indian song in their performance — a fantastic and fun way to explore Indian music and culture!
Everyone is welcome, no matter your dance experience or background. We’re aiming for at least 30 participants this year, so don’t miss out!

With the scholarship program still open to all students, now is the perfect time to give bowls a go. If your winter sport is wrapping up, why not try a coaching session?
Coaching times:
Thursday afternoons: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Sunday mornings: 10:00am – 1:00pm
The Bowls Victoria Saturday Pennant Competition begins in mid-October, and we’d love to see MSJ students on the green. Several talented players have already been spotted during PE sessions – could you be next? All students are welcome! Let’s get involved in a great sport that offers teamwork, strategy, and plenty of fun.
