From casting in December 2024 through months of dedicated rehearsals during after-school hours, lunchtimes, and holidays, every moment of hard work culminated in a spectacular production. Our students delivered a quirky, brilliantly dark show featuring incredible singing and dancing, a ravenous alien plant, and a love story that's truly out of this world.
The story of meek Seymour Krelbourn, transformed by fame and his dangerous friendship with Audrey II, captivated audiences during our short run. More than 50 students lit up the stage with professionalism, passion, and outstanding musical talent. They were supported by our talented student band working alongside professional musicians, plus countless others contributing to front-of-house operations and backstage magic.
Beyond the performances, Little Shop created something special – genuine friendships formed across all year levels. The musical participants becomes a family during rehearsals, with cast and crew bonding through challenges and emerging triumphant, having created absolute magic together.
The production showcased our school's incredible creativity and commitment to performing arts. Audiences left raving about the professional quality of the performances, the seamless technical execution, and the infectious energy our students brought to every scene.
A huge congratulations to every student, teacher, and volunteer who made this unforgettable production possible. You've set the bar incredibly high for future shows!
